Now entering its ninth year, Short+Sweet Theatre is the biggest festival of ten minute
theatre in the world!

Held annually at Newtown Theatre in Sydney, Chapel Off Chapel in Melbourne, Lasalle and The Esplanade Theatre Centre in Singapore and KLPAC in Malaysia - and from September 2009 in the Powerhouse in Brisbane and the Adelaide Centre for the ARTS in Adelaide - the festival has already helped launch the careers of countless theatre professionals. Each year Short+Sweet Theatre presents over 300 of the best ten minute plays from local and international writers in our festivals worldwide, utilizing the talents of the best young and established directors, actors and technical personnel to create some of the best theatre on the planet.
