Now entering its eleventh year, Short+Sweet Sydney is the biggest festival of ten minute theatre in the world!
Each week we showcase 10 exciting new plays never before seen in Sydney. There's something for everyone, with a wide range of styles, genres and subject matter being tackled at every show. And at a few dollars per play there's no denying this is some of the best value theatre around.In 2012 the festival will present 180 brand new 10 minute plays from January to March. With over 300 writers and directors and close to 500 actors involved, Short+Sweet Sydney truly is the biggest little play festival in the world.Held annually in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Singapore, Auckland, Kuala Lumpur, India and in regional locations across Australia, Short+Sweet has provided a professional springboard for countless artists around the world.

buffy the musical

"Once More, With Feeling", one of the most loved Buffy episode of all time, is revived this year at the King Street Theatre! Featuring two separate casts, with matinee performances by students of Newtown High School and evening performances by adults, a live orchestra and all the characters and songs you love from the television series. 'Buffy the Musical' promises to be a fun night out for all, with all profits going directly to KU starting points. Come along and relive the magic in an all singing, all demon, all vampire slaying extravaganza!
